UK citizens (and any other citizens but French and US) do not pay any income tax when living in Monaco


Tax on Rental Income

Rental properties are taxed at 1% of the annual rent plus estimated service charges. This tax is payable by the tenant.

There is no capital gains tax for UK citizens (and any other citizens but French and US)


Wealth Tax

Monaco does not levy net wealth taxes for UK citizens

There is typically no property taxes in Monaco

With Nice airport only 30 minutes-drive away, you can quickly hop on one of the 15-a-day direct UK flights or get to any main airport in the world hassle-free. 

The Monaco driving license does not have any penalty points system. However if you don't want to drive, you can use one of the self-service electric bikes, the bus, or even walk - remember it's only 1.5 times as big as Hyde Park!

Monaco offers several public schools which are amongst the best-ranked in France. There is also an International School for non-French speakers. The International University of Monaco was ranked 15th best in Europe and 37th in the world by the Economist.
